Kyle Kendrick

Kyle has been Batavia's most effective starter this year, which is an encouraging sign from a pitcher who has been a disappointment over the last two seasons. Kendrick, who has been compared by Mike Arbuckle to Jason Schmidt, features a low 90s fastball and a solid slider along with a change-up. He's still only 20 years old (which is younger than the majority of players in the NYPL) so his first two sub-par years have not put him in the dreaded too-old-for-league category.
